When we asked our customers what they thought of us, here is what they said;

Active Paws have been in our lives for over 3 years, helping us learn about puppy life through to dog adult hood with our 2 beagles, Dutch and now Max.
We can not fault Active Paws service; guidance; support and great classes. Both dogs have been in ‘doggy day care’ ; have attended training classes and ‘over night’ stays.
Lou’s patience, honesty and fair coaching is a god send, she’s been at the end of the phone as we’ve been re-homing Max since Feb’14, a lifeline and a god send !
We could not enjoy our dog as much as we do or have a ‘life’ without Lou being part of our support network.

When my dogs are in Lou’s care I’m confident that they’re not only safe and having fun, but they’re also receiving the same consistent training that has helped them conquer so many of their fears over the years. Lou is a real professional and I’d happily recommend her.

The course was excellent. The classes were relaxed and fun, and the techniques and exercises used were straightforward and very effective. Lou clearly has a wonderful affinity for dogs and her approach is friendly, humorous, clear, practical and most of all very positive. The children, my husband and I all came away feeling we had really learned a great deal and will definitely be doing further courses.

Lou also offers doggie day care. Having been to the training classes we are confident that our puppy will be well cared for and accepted for the boisterous youngster that she is, and that Lou will be able to handle her playfulness (and not perfect behaviour) probably better than we can!

Lou has been wonderful in helping us understand our newest rescue Dillon. At times we have been baffled by him but she has really helped us in how to handle some of his more challenging behaviour. Her training classes are lots of fun and she is well loved by the dogs for their lunchtime walks .

Lou helped me to understand how to motivate Monty (my excitable cocker spaniel) and enforce positive behaviours through reward based training. I was absolutely thrilled when Monty, passed his bronze Kennel Club – a testament to Lou’s training and guidance. The one-on-one sessions have been particularly valuable in applying the skills in the local environment and reinforcing the training. Lou is patient with a fun and relaxed approach that installs confidence with both Monty and me.
